Ünal Üstel: “The inequitable embargoes on North Cyprus must be abolished”
TRNC Minister of Tourism and Environment Ünal Üstel, underlined the 71st anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
In the statement shared by the TRNC Minister of Tourism and Environment, Ünal Üstel emphasized the importance of Human Rights Day, 10 December.
Hence, Minister Üstel called attention to the fact that travel is one of the most important human rights. In regards to this, Üstel strongly advocated that the unjust transportation embargoes on North Cyprus must be abolished.
Üstel made the following statement:
“In respect to freedom of movement, mobility rights, or the right to travel being a fundamental human right. The inequitable embargoes on North Cyprus must be abolished. Freedom of travel must be provided to North Cyprus and direct flights must be initiated.”
Minister Üstel underlined that the struggle on this issue will be voiced in every platform.
